The first edition of Meer Koet, Minder Afval was realized by Jaron Vandevelde as part of his Master’s degree project in the Autonomous Design program at KASK & Conservatorium, School of Arts Ghent. The project was initially supported

through the generous guidance and mentorship of Bert De Roe, María Boto Ordonez, and Peter Westenberg at KASK. The national and international recognition it received enabled the development of a second edition on the canals of Ghent, which is currently underway.
